The Little Soldiers of the Night

The little soldiers of the night

Were the soldiers’ greatest fear.

To them the tanks and mortars

Were nothing but a thing to sneer.

The little soldiers of the night

Well, they were mighty small!

But their trick was a fierce trick

The fiercest of them all!

Why, you say, what’s that trick

That I am speaking of?

It was an itchy titchy bite

So fierce, that it can’t be loved.

So, have you solved my riddle?

Or should I be precise?

Well, the answer to the riddle is

The horrible, hateful LICE!

The soldiers were forced to wear the same clothes

Over and over again.

And when two lice crept into the clothes

A family grew! And bit the bodies of the poor men.

Mugg & Bean

Mugg & Bean is an amazing place because it makes the best food I have ever tasted until now, other than Steakhouse. I went there with my family; my aunt, uncle and little cousins for breakfast.

As soon as I walked in, I was hit with the fabulous aroma of coffee and the fresh scent of a bakery. I looked around the attractive restaurant while we were walking to our seat. I could hear the chatter of people and the clink of silverware. The waiter brought us the menu, and after ordering, we talked until the waiter brought our food. We ordered the Famous M&B Breakfast which has sautéed mushrooms and sausages, the S’mores Waffle with melted marshmallows, Nutella drizzled on top, and vanilla ice cream which I highly recommend for people with a sweet tooth, the Kiddies’ Flapjack with maple syrup, the Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich which I also recommend, the Swiss Breakfast Parfait, and the Italian Omelet. When the waiter brought our delightful and hearty breakfast with a smile on his face, we thanked him and satisfied our appetite with the mouth-watering meal.

I touched the smooth table and the cool cutlery once more before we paid the bill and left. Mugg & Bean is a dazzling place to eat and enjoy a meal.
